Utilizing a diverse team of national experts from the fire service, the People's Burn Foundation created a national training program for firefighters and EMS. The program utilizes the real life experiences of four burn survivors to teach, train, and change behaviors of firefighters and emergency medical service personnel.

FFS024TO HELL & BACK: CYANIDE POISONINGWhether cyanide exposure is cumulative or instant and deadly, it is largely preventable and in many cases treatable. Appropriate recognition of the signs and symptoms of canide toxicity, as well as a comprehensive understanding of treatment and antidotes, is the educational mission of the Cyanide Poisoning Treatment Coalition(CPTC). The objective of this program is to introduce this deadly toxin to the fire service to inevitably destroy its power by changing complacent behavior on the fire ground.
