COURSE INFORMATION

Course Description

UAS Data Analytics is a 1-day, in-person, instructor-led course on how to effectively organize, generate, analyze, and rapidly disseminate geospatial data from UAS imagery. This course will train participants on how to transform UAS imagery, video, and other data into products that can be used to support decision-making, damage assessment, and other mission-critical tasks for emergency response.

  • Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to process UAS data to generate products and perform basic analyses on those products.

STUDENT INFORMATION

UNIFORM/ATTIRE:

  • Casual attire is encouraged.

CLASS MATERIALS:

  • Any method to take notes (notebook, iPad, tablet) is acceptable and encouraged.
  • A positive and open attitude is always welcomed too.

REIMBURSEMENT:

  • NDDES DOES NOT provide reimbursement for any costs associated with this course.
  • This course is taught and managed by MSU-ASSURE - Mississippi State University - Alliance for System Safety of UAS through Research Excellence.
  • ASSURE course mangers will coordinate travel and lodging directly with each enrolled participant. 
  • Lodging and travel dates include the preceding and following day of the course.
