COURSE INFORMATION

Course Description

This is an intermediate-level course designed to provide a set of guiding principles, standardized methodology, available resources and practical skill development, which will assist in developing an HSEEP consistent exercise program. This course describes a common approach to exercise program management, design and development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning. 

Selection Criteria: The target audience for this training are those involved in planning, program management, design and development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning of HSEEP consistent exercises.

  • Understand the role of HSEEP in National Preparedness, and how HSEEP exercise principles and methodology support efforts across the whole community to improve our national capacity to build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities.

A block of rooms has been reserved for this class at the Comfort Inn, 929 Gateway Ave., Bismarck, ND.  Call 701-223-4009 and ask for the DES Foundations of Emergency Management room block.  This block of rooms will be held until January 30, 2022.

For those students who are first responders, work in emergency management, are employees of state, local or tribal jurisdictions and live or work in North Dakota, NDDES will reimburse lodging and per diem at state rates.   NDDES does not reimburse mileage.
