Course Description
This class offers a fun and interactive environment to learn and practice facilitation of a group of people in generating ideas and reaching a consensus, recommendation, or decision. Every group meeting needs a strong facilitator--that could be you.
Course Objectives
- Learn the key skills and behaviors required to facilitate a group discussion.
- Prepare effectively before facilitating a meeting.
- Identify personalities and behaviors that can occur in meetings, and strategies to deal with them.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Quality Inn. Call 223-1911 and ask for the "DES Group Facilitation" block. This block will be available until 21 Feb 22. NDDES will reimburse appropriate participants for the cost of your hotel at the state rate and meal per diem according to state policies. We do not cover mileage.
